Two-part spray foam is a cost-effective choice for do-it-yourselfers because it comes in kits that include the chemicals, equipment and instructions needed to apply it. But getting consistent expansion and a clean job requires practice. If you’re a first-time user, it helps to know the size of a gap or crack you want to fill, and only apply a thin layer.
